I don't know if this item is new or used, but definitely looks new, but selling as a used item(I turned it on to test) If I listed it as new, you wouldn't even know it might be used. The cord still has its original kinks in it, like it was tied up with a twisty tie. The case is spotless compared to others I have seen on Ebay that have chemical spills all over the case. Suction cups on bottom of unit are like new, and the bottom case still has a rainbow color to it, like it is brand new. Came with a small tobacco type pouch still tied to the cord, and inside were two sealed stirrer magnets. The magnetic stirrer started moving in a circle, and the more I cranked the knob, the more the stirrer spun(see picture 8) The stirrer was still in the sealed bag and I cranked it all the way to fast and the plastic swung up like a helicopter and the stirrer flew up in the air!
