The item for sale is a wooden printing block letter L that is in good condition with marks and patina as per photo- this one is old. The block is 3.3/8" tall and 7/8" thick overall. Will be posted using a cardboard box. Please bear in mind these blocks are used and do have ink stains.Wear,small nicks,chips,cracks etc commensurate with age and use- this part of a large collection i will be selling over the coming months which includes sets and singles so if there is a name or particular font style you are after please ask as i may have it and as always i will combine postage where possible- see below. Vintage Hand Carved 6 3/4"x6" Grapevine Design Wood Printing Block Fabric Clay
Available is a vintage. Hand carved wood printing block. This wood block measures 6 3/4" X 6" x 3" The wood sculpture features a carved grapevine pattern. The lines of the design rise up about 1/4" from the base. There is a border of leaves and clusters on both the top and bottom of the wood block. This wood block can be used for fabric. Clay, or wallpaper. The back has its handle intact plus the numbers 142/4(see photo) I have five other wood print blocks listed in separate auctions. I think it is a Mississippi Sheild I've tried to show about what the print would look like but I didn't have any ink worth using. Vintage Printing Press Copper and wood block Coca Cola Bottle. Very nice, 4 3/4 inches by 1 1/4 inches. Used, Copper part is very good, wood plock has a prett good crack. Please see the pictures, I show the crack from both sides, it can be seen that from one side the crack goes quite close to the Copper, the other side not as much. I would consider putting epoxy or super glue into the crack, but I don't know what that would do to the value. Weighs 5.1 ounces out of the shipping box. Very neat Coke collectible. I cannot find anything to associate this to as far as age, country, or MFG. Shipping will be 6.50 for a small flat rate box with tracking. Anything else that fits into the box will ship free.
