Font consists of a complete alphabet, complete set of figures and punctuation, ampersand, dollar signs. 130 total wooden type pieces included. Font consists of a complete alphabet, punctuation, ampersand, dollar sign, and incomplete sets of numbers. 197 total wooden type pieces included. A rare find(2) printer drawers containing complete alphabet of wood type letterpress printer blocks. The letters are approx. 7" high. 1" thick and varing widths depending on the letter. The size of the letters is a rare feature. The set looks to be in great condition but I am not well versed in grading printing blocks. Pickup only in Richlands. VA. Antique Hamilton Manufacturing Company letter press wood cabinet w/ type. Measures 36" high. 20 1/2" deep, and 27" wide. Nine out of eleven drawers have at least some contents in them. Most are quite full. I was not able to include a picture of every drawer because I am only allowed 12 pictures in the listing. Contact me if you desire more pictures. I will be glad to send them to you. Contents of the drawers consist of letters. Numbers, some prepared type like would say"honorary pallbearers, five wooden letters of varying sizes, and I believe some spacers and other accessories. Type appears to be in good condition and seems to range from about 8 pt. to 36 pt. Cabinet has wear but is quite solid. Drawers are very solid and in good shape. It is missing the lower 4 drawers. This is an old printer's drawer or type case in the full size measuring about 32 inches by about 16 1/2. A great old item! WOOD back. The top was painted gray when it was in the cabinet in the print shop. The handle was probably painted gray at the same time. Long before me! What is really neat about this one it has an inspection date on the back as seen in photo. It looks like 1921. A great old piece!

BUT this is the center so iT has all the original sides and of course this original handle. The top was painted years ago& the brass is showing through on the handle. Bulletin Wood Type Font Letterpress Vanderburgh Wells Hamilton Vandercook Press
This is a beautiful and rare font of American wood type from the late 19th century in a bulletin style. This type measures 6 pica/line and I believe it was made by Vanderburgh& Wells. This font includes upppercase. Lowercase and some punctuation as well as the necessary slant-cut spacing material and a couple of wedge spaces for the line ends. It is in good condition(a few serifs repaired) and I have had a lot of fun with it. But it is now someone else's turn to enjoy it. Please keep an eye on my listings for more letterpress and wood type related items. I am raising money for some new equipment and will be letting go of some rather incredible things in the coming weeks.

Printer's Tray Or Type Case Wood End Section With HAMILTON Handle
This is a wonderful end section of a California job case. It measures about 16 2/3 by about 11 1/8" 1 1/8" deep. I often have my lumber yard cut the big type cases down as not everyone has room for a large one. This is the end so it has a new piece of wood across the top. I have a center listed on eBay now as well as full size one& one with large openings. This one I added a HAMILTON handle.
