Nice lot of approx 140 blocks. Some metal but most are wood. They are in an early printer type tray of some sort. Could use a quick clean and some oil to bring out the color on the frame and some of the blocks.They are all loose so you can arrange and spell what you want. There is some tape residue on back of tray from masking tape that was on it.

Alphabet in antique letters We have found these wonderful vintage characters in a geman letterpress shop. We think. That these letters should be from around 1940. They have a nice patina and also traces of wear. As the letters had a long life of printing a lot of interesting posters, etc. The letters can be used for exemple as decoration. Numbers, punctuation, and ligatures- These are in excellent condition and are already very clean as we only remove light dust and leave additional cleaning up to the buyer since many collectors have told us not to clean them. The natural patina is very much appreciated by many. Missing J, 1,8, and 9, B looks like it is from a different set. One of the commas has the descender tip worn or broken off.
