Sale is for one used Ludlow letterpress type font/ mats of Caslon Bold- 8 pt. These letters are right reading and were used to cast lines of lead type(reverse reading) used for letterpress printing. Still used to a limited extent today. These solid brass letters are getting harder to find and rare. Could be used for vintage display. Brass alone is worth the price. Some of letters are show in last picture, rest of font is in other rows under cardboard- about 6 lbs. of brass.
