It appears that it was kept inside the case most of the time as most of the paint is still in very good shape. The wood en edges have a finish on them as well. Very Nice Condition Survey Kit. Includes Transit. Tribrach, Telescoping Tripod, Laser Level and carry case. Items in photos are exactly what you will receive- Guaranteed. I don't know much about land survey equipment. But this appears to be in very good condition with very limited use. All bubbles work fine. Tripod fully extends. I do not know how to verify the laser on the level, and didn't want to mess with it. But trust that if you are looking at this, then you know what it is and what questions to ask.
