Vintage surveying equipment - 5ft Steel Tripod & 25ft fiberglass 3pc Grade Rod
Well. Unfortunately I hadn't found t hese items when I sold the ancient"David White" transit scope last year on eBay. I tried to find them but they had been stored apart from the scope. I believe that my father had picked them up as a set many years ago. However. I can't find the identification stamps or labels on either item. I AM sure that the David White transit mounted onto the tripod because I saw that myself. I think we had dated the transit at about 50 or 60 years old so that's my guess on these items. I know very little about surveying and equipment so the pictures will replace any more description I might have. Feel free to ask me any questions tho. The tripod legs are 5ft tall and composed of 2 steel. Or maybe heavy aluminum. Hollow bars.
