Kirsten's fishing POLE and one TROUT from her Fishing Set in Good Used Condition. These items are from an early 1990's Kirsten collection. The fishing pole has warped slightly with age and the fitting is a bit loose- still works nicely for display but I would not recommend for play due to the fragility of the piece. This is an adorable animated Dad telling his son the story about the North Pole. It requires 3 AA batteries which are not included. There is an off and on switch but the child just needs to push the red button on the bear's paw to get it started. The Dad's mouth moves and his body also moves side to side. The son does not move. There is a 11 page colorful story booklet which has pictures and the exact words that both the Dad and the son are saying. It was sold by Kohl's. LARGE NORTHWEST COAST SALISH INDIAN TOTEM STORY POLE
I believe this tall. 32" totem/story pole is from Vancouver Island, Canada. It is quite a complex carving. The top figure is a bear holding a sea creature by the tail and ripping it apart. Then going down the pole more sea creatures with flippers interacting with human heads all the way to the bottom human head. The back is carved out as is typical.It must be illustrating a story or folk tale from that region. Email questions.
