Chicago Steel Tape Base Station / Antenna Tripod
This is a used base station/antenna tripod made by Chicago Steel Tape. Closed as shown in photo it is 5 foot in length. Legs pull out to 7 foot. Says on the inside pole that when fully extended antenna height is 2m. Very beat up. All foot points are there.Three outside legs fully extend and clamp/lock properly. Center leg twist-lock mechanism is broken. Someone drilled a hole and added a bolt to lock it in place in the fully closed position and another one fully opened. You will probably have to think up a better way to keep that locked. Second picture shows the mount that is on there. Center hole is 1 3/8" in diameter with a screw-in knob for locking. This is a giant surveyor's tripod. VERY sturdy. I used it for holding a large laser beam for setting 8' drop ceilings. It was easy to move to the next office and lay out the next ceiling without a lot of measuring. Sort of unique. But great, if you have a similar application. Good for a large camera.
