Please refer to the pictures provided below for more details on the condition of the item. We powered this device on with a standard 110V outlet. We turned the heat to"HIGH" and found that the ceramic top heated up quickly. It maxed out our infrared thermometer at 700F. We attempted to turn the stirrer on by hand. However. Adjusting the speed adjustment was very difficult requiring a pair of pliers to turn the knob. We placed a screw on top of the plate and found that the stirring speed control worked appropriately. We guarantee this device to only perform as we have described. Given the issue with the speed control knob. We must sell this device as is.
