This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are a few minor scratched on the item and some chipped paint but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The power cable is in good condition with no cuts or frayed areas. Please see the photos below for more details on the item. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. The heat and stir dials both turned properly and the green lights worked as well. We then put a glass beaker full of water and turned the heat and stir dial all the way up and let it sit for five minutes. The plate was extremely hot and the glass beaker was stirring. We used a infrared thermometer to measure the plate and it was 269 Degrees ... moreCelsius. We then changed the heat and stir dial down to the middle and it worked as it should.
