The cords on the drill and sabre saw are good and are not all rotted out. the plugs are good.The sander cord is cracked a little here and there and most likely need replaced soon The sabre saw is not variable speed single speed only with a lock on for it.It has a white plastic top on it and under that is some masking tape not sure why. Mfg By: Ramco Model: 30 30" Single Head Wide Belt Sander Serial No: 302 Main Drive Motor: Baldor 20 HP. 1725 RPM, 208-220/440V, 3 Phase Conveyor Motor: 3/4 HP. 1725 RPM, 208-220/440V 3 Phase Sanding Belt Size: 29" wide X 84" long Machine Weight: 2.850 Lbs. machine weight only, not actual shipping weight) The sander is currently wired for 230V so we could test it. But the main motor starter is a size 2 and not rated for the 20 HP"full working load" on 230V. The sander will need to be run on 440V with the included starter, or you will need to upgrade the starter to a size 3 if you plan to run it on ... more230V. The main drive motor. Sanding rolls, conveyor and conveyor motor run fine, with no excess noise that would indicate bearing problems. The main drive motor has a brake mounted on it, but it was disconnected by the previous owner and we have not attempted to hook it back up. It is a Sterns brand brake and parts should be available if you choose to hook it back up. Also, the forward/ reverse drum switch that controls the conveyor is a little"loose" in the forward position. If you push it all the way forward, it will not start the motor, but if you stop it just shy of all the way, the motor runs fine. May need adjusting or possibly new contacts. The main issue with this sander is with the pneumatic belt tracking system. This sander has an"Air Jet" style tracking system consisting of an adjustable pneumatic relay and 3 regulators. We have been unsuccessful at getting the tracking system to work properly. It will not actuate with just the sanding belt breaking the air stream. But if you stick something stiff against the air jet hole, basically blocking it, the cylinder will actuate. It's possible that it may be adjusted wrong through the regulators or re

There is also another tag on the sander with the name Fumagalli R on it. An internet search does not show this name as being a woodworking machinery manufacturer. Possibly a distributor? This sander is used. But is in good operating condition. Body and moving parts show normal wear, scratches etc. from use. Both tables can be raised up or down and both will tilt. This sander is missing the"end" table commonly seen around the tail pulley for sanding radius. Sander - Double (2) Drum - GENERAL INTL 25 In. 3 HP Horizontal
LOCAL PICKUP ONLY* Huntington Beach. CA This is a GENERAL INTL 25 In. 3 HP Horizontal Double Drum Sander. $2400 NEW. I bought it from Eagle Tools(Los Angeles) in 2009. It's had very light use in my guitar shop each year. Maybe I've used it once every 2 weeks to make veneers or do final sanding for guitar body blanks(mahogany is typical) Sometimes it sits for many weeks. And when I do use it, the sander never gets heavy use during operation, just one-off sanding projects running maybe 20 minutes at most per piece. FOR THE PHOTOS ABOVE. I'VE REMOVED THE LEFT SIDE PANEL TO SHOW HOW CLEAN THE INSIDE IS, GEARS, ETC ARE- NO RUST OR CORROSION. The double drums are nice feature. Allowing a coarse grit on first drum and a finer grit as the work piece passes under the second drum. Sands very evenly. Not only does this take wood up to 24" ... morewide(I never have had that need) BUT I use it to create"paper thin" veneers- I can get a 1/32" veneer using a simple sled board with sand paper to hold the veneer. very versatile. Very solid and heavy machine, with very low vibration. Some issues I've had. 1) the conveyor belt sputtered(did not run evenly) when in high speed(conveyor controller) And that was due to a loose wire connection on the controller. Works fine now. 2) some occasional snipe marks on top of the work piece when operating the conveyor belt at high speed. This is overcome by making an additional pass-thru at a more moderate conveyor speed. Final thoughts. This sander has worked great for me. But I can't suggest it would be the sander you'd want for a heavy shop environment running cabinet doors, etc. all day long. Good luck bidding. And below is some more company info. The insert measures 4.62" O.D. with an I.D. of 1.55" And thickness of.70" The insert is in good overall condition, it has some slight pitting on the surface, and light scrape and some general use marks. What appears to be a nick in the one edge I believe is a casting imperfection. Returns accepted.
