TimeSaver 37 x 75 one head wide-belt sander
Here for your consideration is a TimeSaver wide-belt sander. It has seen use in three cabinet and door shops since its manufacture in the USA in 1983. This is a much stouter machine that the later TimeSaver machines that were made in Taiwan. This sanders has a 20 HP primary motor with a 1 1/2 HP conveyor drive motor. The sander motors are 3 phase and will work with a proper phase converter. A heavy duty 6-caster dolly is included with this sander. It allows one person to move the machine about and keep it clean underneath. This dolly has been credited with this machines longevity as a productive machine in the shop because not being bolted to a floor allowed it to move with vibration and not shake when out of balance. A veritable cash cow when up and running not to mention making any shop more productive. This machine has been owned by me ... moresince 1987 and in conjunction with the production of custom cabinets. It has seen proper maintenance on a regular basis. When disconnected it was still running perfectly. It is being offered for sale as is. Where is. The cost of freight to your location would depend entirely on the distance from Bayfield, Colorado. Grizzly G0539 37" Wide Belt Sander
The power table operates nicely. The conveyor is in very good shape and shows little or no sign of wear. All controls are in working condition. Videos of the machine running are available. I can send them by phone or email. The machine is currently wired for 440. 3 phase, however all motors operate at 220. This machine shipped from Grizzly at 220 volts and can be converted back. Grizzly's listing page shows the 440 kit as an extra priced at $250.00. There are two extra control items that were loose in the enclosure which may be the 220 volt controls removed when the 440 volt kit was installed. They will be included with the Sander.
