Here we have a Rockwell 6 x 48 inch Belt 12 inch Disc Sander( or. Most of it, anyway! This is a project I started. Was gonna make this for myself. But.I got too much stuff! Enough stuff. That I can actually convince myself that I don't really need this. What I do need. Though, is more room in the shop. What this listing includes, what's shown in the photos, are the parts that you'd need to add a 12" disc. To your existing 6 x 48 belt sander. All of the associated parts, shown here. Are in top condition! Stripped. De-Burred, Primed, and Painted! Bearings are Great, and everything turns nice, and true! It's All Here! The Disc. And it's Complete Guard. The longer Arbor. And longer key way. The Belt Guard. The Base. All the correct fasteners and setscrews. all except the table, and trunnions, which I do not have. You ... moredo. However, see them pop up now. And again, on eBay; or Craigslist. But. The rest is here. The Arbor pulley is not a Rockwell. But it is an Excellent quality Steel pulley. I could be mistaken. But I believe this would be the correct size(2- 3/4" for this sander; with the 3450 rpm motor. The older Delta sanders would use a 4" inch pulley with a 1725 rpm motor. I think that would work also. And if you'd like a different Arbor pulley. Let me know. I have a bunch of pulleys around, and I will do my best to accommodate you. Of course. The easiest conversion would be possible if the belt sander you have now is on the enclosed base with the riser. That would be a direct swap. There's no reason. Rockwell Delta 12" Disc Sander on Stand Runs Solid and Quiet
Up for grabs is a 12" Delta Rockwell disc sander. With a 1 hp motor which runs really strong and quiet and is 115/230 volt. The sander can be set up to collect dust although it does not have the down pipe. It has been painted and looks pretty good, but it was not done professionally. I prefer local pick up because I am not a machinery company, but I will ship freight with prior authorization from me prior to purchase. I will pallet, but there will be a $50 fee as to cover costs and the buyer must purchase the freight as well as coordinate the shipping from 93033. POWERMATIC 12" DISC SANDER, NICE!
Powermatic 12" disc sander with pedestal good condition. The table is in good shape and tilts as it should. It is single phase so it can plug into any home shop outlet. I will not ship unless you hire someone to crate it and pick it up. I do have a way to load it into a truck. The pictures show all that there is with the machine. The switch has a little buzz to it but when I took it to a Powermatic service center they said that this is normal. I have not used the machine since I bought it because I have even larger disk sanders. It came out of a lightly used single man guitar maker woodshop. It is a great machine ready to work. Vintage Craftsman 12" Disc Sander Bench Mount 1950's 109.22370 FREE SHIPPING
Up for sale is a Craftsman 12 inch disc plate bench mount sander from the early 1950's. Its model number is 109.22370. This listing is for sander only. There is no electric motor included. This sander is cast iron and is heavy. Weighs over 60 pounds with no motor It is old Craftsman blue/gray in color. Sander in good condition. It has some small paint spots drips which can be easily removed. It is missing one foot plate washer( see Pic's) Has very minor surface rust in places. The plate is 12 inches in diameter and has a 1/2 inch hole for motor shaft. Plate mounts directly to motor shaft with two allen set screws which are included. The motor which was attached to this was a 1/3 HP. 1/2 inch shaft, 1850 RPM. The motor was fried. I do not believe this was the original motor as it had a homemade mount rig which was not very well constructed. ... moreThe motor mount plate can be adjusted up and down to fit various size motors. It measures 8" in length X 7-1/2" wide Mount plate is missing one washer on one adjusting foot, easily made, see pic's) Table tilts and has degree scale with good pointer. Table is 16" wide X 6-1/2 to disc. 9-3/4 on ends. All threaded parts in good shape. None stripped, none frozen. The adjustable table leg shaft is a little tight in movement in a couple of places, might have been made that way to keep shaft from falling out. It does not appear to be bent. Here we have a Rockwell/Delta 6" belt and 12" disc abrasive finishing machine. It is equipped with a 2 HP delta motor. 240 volt. I purchased the sander one and a half years ago in Phila. I believe it was used in an industrial setting, but that is a guess. Documentation shows machine was purchased new in January 1984. I took the motor to my local re-builder and had it cleaned and new bearings installed, runs great. The on/off switch(an old furnas 12BAT) finally gave out a month ago, so I hard wired it to make sure that was the problem. I took the switch apart, you can actually rebuild them, you just need a little brass to fabricate a new connector if your handy, or you can purchase a replacement switch from"the Saw Center" for about $60.00. It has 2 extra belts and 2 extra discs included in sale. It's missing the"idler drum guard" on the belt section and the belt section does not have a table, but it does have a backstop.
