This is an Excellent KALAMAZOO 6 X 48 Belt Sander Grinder This machine is USED, but is in GREAT WORKING Condition! The Rollers/ Drums spin nicely. And have NO end play. They haven't lost their shape either, and remain straight and true. The top roller is Steel. And spins on internal bearings. The bottom roller. Is heavy Aluminum. It is Direct Drive, with a flexible coupling connecting the motor to the sander. The table. And the platen have some wear; as one would expect with any used sander. Nothing excessive though, that would the functionality of the machine. The sander has the Complete guard. Which has integral 2" Dust Collection Port. shown in photo) The guard is in excellent shape, with 1 very sound repair. Originally. This machine was on Kalamazoo's Dust Collection Base. Vintage Industrial Belt Sander Flywheel Pulleys DIY Kit 2x48 Kalamazoo Delta
This is a pair of pulleys that were used in conjunction with a motor and mounting surface to run a 2x48 sanding belt. Only the large 10" flywheel with 5/8" key center and the pully arm are included. No mounting surface or tool rests. These parts however are heavy duty industrial grade weighing about 40 lbs. The smaller pulley is 3.75" in diameter and both are 2.75" wide. They are not marked but the smaller pulley has Stephens Adamson sealed bearings. These could be remounted and with the addition of a motor. Make a fine sanding station either vertical or horizontal.
