The tabs on the pull-out schematics have been gnawed on by silverfish, and are a bit fuzzy, but are readable. The blue covers have some dings, scratches, and rust spots, and the part of the front page that shows through the window in the front cover has been eaten. See Photograph. The 2246 is a fairly modern design oscilloscope and one of the last analog oscilloscope from Tektronix. It's also one of the last Tektronix oscilloscopes repairable by component replacement. The 2246 is one of the most versatile analog scope I ever used. The 2246 oscilloscope can greatly reduce time consuming tasks by use of it's SmartCursors™ feature. The cursors allow voltage measurements with on-screen cursors(see photos) Visually indicate trigger level and ground, and make time measurements with cursors or alternate delayed sweep. It offers CRT readout and measures +peak, peak, peak-to-peak, DC, gated volts, and waveform's voltage. Timing, frequency.
