Fujikura FSM-30S Arc Fusion splicer Intermitent Working Parts or Repair
You are looking at a Fujikura FSM-30S Arc Fusion Splicer With Case. Cleaver, and misc odds and ends. We have used this for a about 2 years and have upgraded to a new unit. Great for our first splicer we ever bought. Now it sometimes has problems with the y overrun and dirty fiber or bad cleave. We havent had any service on the machine since we have had it. It does work and has a picture of a burn that I did so you could see it work. Typically when it works it takes about 1 of every 7 tries it will burn. When it burns typical loss is 0.0 to.07 db unless a bubble or bad cleave which can happen. This is a core fusion splicer and with that accuracy db loss is low. There is no return on the item as you can use it as is or use it for parts. The Pads are also worn out on the unit. It needs TLC but it will burn just not consistent enough for our ... morecrew. Also comes with a Sumitomo FC-6S Cleaver. There is also some splice sleeves included and a couple of prep wipes. Happy bidding ask any questions. Again no returns on unit.

I did not have any shrink tube to test the heater out, but did cycle it and it got hot. I assume the heater performs as it should. Unit was last certified on 8/26/1999. Was used as a backup unit for a large contractor. Comes with a Fujikura CT-07BS High Precision Cleaver. Power cord, splicer, manual and hard case. What you see in the pictures is what you get.
