VINTAGE PELOUZE LABORATORY SCALE COMPLETE WITH WEIGHTS AND BOX The scale has the name Trojan on the front but the box has Pelouze Manufacturing Co. It is a metric scale and the weights are in grams. Pelouze has been making precision scales and balances since 1894 in Chicago. IL. The scales are in very good condition with a little paint off one side of the plates for the weights. There is a separate box for the weights and a chart with the different weights and measures. The box is the original but is a little the worse for wear. Amthor model 460. Capacity 5 to 500 psi. Included: service manual and 250Lb weight set. Also. Four 1psi weights. Couple wrenches for the test gages. Test gage not included. For working demonstration only. Unit is in good condition. Tested at several points ok. Test pressure shown is 105psi, 2 weights at 50 each and 5 for the base. The weights are cleaned and calibrated. These are not the original weights but fit and work just great in this application. I will drain out the oil before shipping. It is WD10. For sale is a vintage scale calibration weight set. Complete, in original wood box. Set was made in Germany as marked on the bottom of the box for the Geo L Claflin Company in Providence, RI. Comes with the following weights: 50 grams(x1) 20 grams(x2) 10 grams(x1) 5 grams(x1) 2 grams(x2) and 1 gram(x1) Smaller flat weights include: 500 mg(x1) 200 mg(x2) 50 mg(x1) and several others with just one number on them, one with a 4 and two with a 2. Good looking set. Nicely designed brass tweezers and good patina on the weights. Not sure if screws/latches are original but they close the box well. Even though these weights have been sitting in the bottom of a box all wrapped up in paper. The shiney brass finish still have some tarnished areas and or spots due to age, as does the chains.
