This one functions just the same as the other unit I sold. I set the scale to grams, zeroed it out so that it came up with all zeroes, and then put a nickel on the scale. I know from being a numismatist that a U.S. nickel weighs approximately 5 grams. When I put the nickel on the scale, it did measure 5.0xxxx grams, and not all nickels are exactly 5 grams, so this shows that it does measure correctly. It did have an old calibration sticker that was taken off, and it was to be re calibrated in September of 2013. Should be good, but just wanted to let you know.
