This auction is for an Orvis 9'3" 2 3/4oz Graphite Fly Fishing Rod. Rod is for a five weight line.It is the Spring Creek model. I have had it for better then eight years. And it was used when I purchased it. I now have the Battenkill Reel with a five weight line that was used with this rod. See my other listings for it. I have used it on trout, and pond bass, and it is a great rod. The white decal on the rod is rubbing off from being in the sack, with is the original one for this rod. Comes with its original case. It is probably a handmade copy of the Eddleman but for all I know it could very well be an actual prototype of the Never Fail hook. I have no way of tracing it however. No Reserve. This is the real deal here folks. Not often do you get the chance to own one of the most rare spring loaded hooks on the market. These don't come up for sale very often and that's probably because there are only about a half dozen known to exist. One is featured in the"Spring Loaded Fish Hooks. Traps and Lures" Book by Tim Mierzwa and Bill Blauser. This one is in wonderful condition. The following comes from the rarefishinghooks website about these hooks.
