We ran put a wet paper towel on the pan- the system weighed the sample and heated the sample without any issues. We did not test the printer. We have not done any further testing of the balance. One thing to note is that the springs on the heater door are worn and do not keep the door open(you need to hold the door open to load/unload a sample)We are selling the moisture balance as-is and will not accept returns.
