The scale zeros correctly, and has been verified with test weight to ensure it reads correctly. I have also checked the three weights that are included on another accurate scale, and they are all accurate to the number stamped on their housing. This balance also comes with a Tare bar, so you can eliminate a container, and just weigh contents. Unlike the piles of 700 series balance on ebay. The 800 series balance reads in Pounds, Decimal Ounces, and Fractional Ounces. It is in overall nice condition with usual wear from age. There are a few nicks and scuffs on the item. The milk glass is in wonderful condition with no chips or cracks.
