I believe that it is the weighing pan because when it's on it's one error when its off it's another error saying it doesn't have enough weight. This has a flat pan and these usually use a concave pan. I'm sure it works fine might just need another pan. Saw it working with the flat pan so it might just need to be calibrated instead of buying another pan.
