OHAUS Triple Beam Balance 2610 g CAPACITY - Bent bottom, wobbly
A visitor in 1989 knocked this to the floor. Leaving the bottom slightly convex. This does not affect the function. When you are balancing one quantity against a known quantity. It's just you and the gravity. It is level as soon as you calibrate it, which of course you will do every time you use it. I always just let the left side hang slightly over the table's edge. Thus flattening the bottom. Sometimes I just put a piece of cardboard under it to flatten/level it. Was never an issue for me and I have gotten many years of value from it. Has some oxidation. Paint wear. Growing sluggishness in the lubricated hinges. I'll let you lubricate it. Capacity 2610 grams; I'll mail it on my way to work tomorrow!
