This auction is for a used Ohaus 800 Series Triple Beam Balance. This balance is extremely accurate. I have checked the scale completely. And it is if perfect working order. The scale zeros correctly, and has been verified with test weight to ensure it reads correctly. I have also checked the three weights that are included on another accurate scale, and they are all accurate to the number stamped on their housing. This balance also comes with a Tare bar, so you can eliminate a container, and just weigh contents. Unlike the piles of 700 series balance on ebay. The 800 series balance reads in Pounds, Decimal Ounces, and Fractional Ounces. So if you are looking for a accurate balance, but don’t want to have to convert from metric, this is the auction for you. This is a used instrument.
