Used Mettler Toledo BP1630 digital scale. Max 16100g/ Min 5g/ E=1g/ D=1g/0.1g. The stainless steel top measures 13-3/4" x 9-1/8" The manufacturers label on the back reads model PB1630DR. The clear plastic protective cover is a little hazy and chipped along the front bottom edge and one corner. No damage to the scale surface itself. Overall cosmetic condition is good. I plugged the scale into a 120vac outlet. Leveled it, powered on and tested the unit with 2000g and 10g precision calibration weights. The scale reads correctly. I also checked to see if would go into calibration mode and it does. There are no connectivity ports. The last time this scale was calibrated and used was in 2011. I have up for sale a fully functioning Used Mettler Toledo XP6002S scale. This scale was used in a pharmaceutical lab and is in very good shape but does show signs of corrosion. I cleaned the balance quickly to take pictures but I'm sure most of the corrosion that is left on it can be cleaned up. If you look at the pictures you can see some of the corrosion along the front feet and the back plug area. Besides the little bit of corrosion the balance looks very nice and functions as it should. Super clean unit in excellent physical condition and functional as a weighing instrument. But being sold"as is" no returns, because the ribbon cable for the panel switches needs to be either repaired or replaced. When powered up, it goes through normal self test with all panel lights lit, but then shows"OFF" and won't power on beyond that, using the touch pad keys. I removed the cover to investigate, and found the ribbon cable for the switches is cracked where it bends around, and all five circuit runs appear to be separated. You can see this in the photo below, circled in blue. By momentarily jumpering the two pins shown in picture with orange arrows, which simulates ... morethe on/off key being pushed, the balance will turn on and operate fine in weigh mode, with readout dead on accurate when tested with calibrated weights. Once powered up, you can replace the cover and continue using it as a weighing instrument, although the menu and other functions can't be accessed because of the ribbon situation. It will probably be a fairly simple project to scrape away the coating on the ribbon and solder bus wire to join the broken runs together, which should correct things and make the balance fully functional, but I just have too much going on right now and no time to deal with it myself. Keypad should be OK, but is untested because of the cable issue. The cover is easy& quick to remove& reinstall, just one phillips screw and two hand turn ones.
