With paint flaking off the front and sides below the hot plate. The unit also has stains on the hot plate and sides of the unit. None of this however effects the operation of the unit which has been powered up. Tested to ensure the plate heats and the set points work. I do not know what is supposed to happen with the stirrer function, but when turned on the unit shakes a little and makes noise. No accessories(except the power cable which is attached) are included.
