This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are a few minor scuff marks and scratches on the item but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The function buttons are in good condition. The internal structure of the item is in good condition as well. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. We inserted water into the item and there were no leaks. We then set the item to-10 degrees Celsius. The item started to cool down immediately and after around 10 minutes we tested the item with a digital thermometer and it read-10 degrees. We then let the item ... moresit for several minutes. We turned the item back on and turned the temperature up to 100 degrees Celsius. The item started to heat up but the item then kicked off. We reset the item and it started working again for about 30 seconds then kicked off. We are unsure the reason for this. Heat could be felt coming off of it in under a minute and it was soon boiling. The display for the heating unit unfortunately doesn't work. I tried hitting all buttons and turning all knobs. But nothing seems to happen. None of the indicator lights work either. After trying different temperatures, I am pretty sure that the heating element is set to high permanently.
