I filled the holding tank with water and connected the output port to the input port with a piece of tubing. When first turned on, the ambient temperature displayed was 20.3°C. I set the temperature to 2°C and let the unit run. In about 10 minutes the chiller had reached 2°C. I then set the temperature for 17°C and let it ... morerun a while longer. The“Heating” light on the front panel of the chiller DID NOT TURN ON although the temperature started to rise very slowly. I don’t think this unit has the heating option, or if it does it does not appear to be working. The temperature select controller dial appears to react very erratic/inconsistent to adjustment and may require PARTS OR REPAIR. This chiller requires 220Vac 1-Phase input. The heater and pump and external water fittings all work. But it won't cool the water in'chill' mode.
