Compressed air is pushed through the beds in an alternating cycle. The compressed air enters the beds where the nitrogen is absorbed leaving pure oxygen to exit from the other end. The beds are then allowed to vent. Expelling the previously absorbed nitrogen. The picture shows one unit which we dissassemled to show the internal construction, the buyer will received two assembled units. Each cylinder weighs 65 lbs, so two cylinders weigh 130 lbs. These units were removed from a military nitrogen/oxygen generator set and was built to the highest standards by Clifton Scientific. Used Copeland Compressor CRJ3-0300-PFV 208/230 1 PH R22 Sealed Off with Nitrogen
Used CRJ3-0300-PFV Copeland compressor. This is rated at 3 H.P. or 37.900 BTU for R22 refrigerant. This compressor can take the place of a scroll if you want to. Whether it is a scroll or a reciprocating compressor like this one, they both do the same thing, just different methods of compressing the refrigerant. This compressor is used but I can assure you that it will operate perfectly when you install it. It was removed from a unit that was smashed by falling snow and I removed the compressor and silver soldered the lines shut. I then pulled a vacuum on the comprssor and then added a small nitrogen charge to it to prevent any moisture from getting in. The air conditioner was on a regular maintanence program which shows that it was not"beat to death" Because of the nature of compressors and the many of things in a system that can"kill" ... morea compressors there is not warranty on this unit, but again, I can assure you that this is in perfect"used" condition and it will operate fine when you get it.
