This item is in good condition with some minor cosmetic wear from normal use. There are a few minor scuff marks and scratches on the item but this does not effect the functionality of the item. The function buttons are in good condition as well as the digital display. Please refer to the photos below for more details on the item. This item was plugged in and powered on with no problems. We inserted water into the item and there were no leaks or any other issues. We then turned the item down to the minimum and let the item sit for around 15 minutes. The item started to cool down immediately. The temperature started at 46-8 degrees and dropped to 14.2 degrees. We then turned the item to the ... moremax and let the item sit for another 15 minutes. Digital Display of current water temperature Coarse and Fine set point dials Circulates water for even cooling Set temperature to 0.1C Chills water, Testing We filled the unit with water and turned on. Accurately displayed temperature at 20.1C. Then we set the thermostat to 7.2C which it reached in about 50 minutes. Then we raise the thermostat to 32C, which it failed to heat. Therefore we conclude that the chiller works, but the heating element does not. Used. In good condition, as mentioned heating unit is broken, but chiller works very well.
