These two very beautifully hand crafted 92.5% sterling silver sipping/ stirring spoons(also called Ice Tea spoons) Are signed/stamped with the silver purity% and Hecho en Mexico. The two weigh approximately 1/2 ounce or 15 grams. They are 8 inches in length. The hand detail on the spoon surface is in excellent condition. There are no corrosives or pits on either spoon. The solder is perfect as are the straw lengths. I have just polished them so it made them hard to photograph due to the reflection on the shine. So the pics do not do them justice. These late 19th century wooden cooking or stirring spoons come from my own collection which I have accumulated for 30 years. They are each made of one piece of Maple with a nice patina and are in very good used condition with appropriate age wear. The bottom spoon measures 10" long with a 3 1/2" by 2" bowl. The next measures 9 3/4" long with a 2 3/4' by 1 5/8" bowl and the top spoon measures 8" long with a 3" by 1 5/8" bowl. These spoons all look like they once had longer handles which were cut down, although not by a lot(Photo# 5) They would make nice additions to your own wooden primitives collection and they can still be put to good use in the kitchen.
