I set a target temp of 50C and it was dead on accurate. Fast heating unit, I took it up to boiling, where it indicated 99.8C, but I was using regular tap water, not distilled. Has max temp settings of 203C on the high side, and-53C low, although I don't believe it has a chill capability. This thing is in very good physical condition. And it powers up after I figured out there was a float valve interlock. Refrigeration section works fine as does the heater. So I was all set to proclaim it functional until I tried to change the temperature set point. If I am interpreting the front panel correctly it looks like you should be able to hold down on the switch on the left and then push in and dial in the temperature you would like it to cool to. So I played with it for awhile and accomplished nothing. Could easily be a case of operator error. As I do not have a manual for it. Could be that it just needs water in it which I didn’t bother with because I didn’t have ... moreany way to loop the out flow back into the in flow. And perhaps you can just use it as is. It is set on 10.5 presumably degrees C. Out of an abundance of caution I am offering it for parts or repair only. And no returns will be accepted. In my experience with this type of product they often don’t work by the time they get to surplus. And usually the culprit is the compressor, they don’t cool. This one cools great.
