Box is in great condition with most of the wear being on the chart itself and you will see that it does have a rip in the middle. In the lot of slides you will find one dog testis slide. One spermatozoa slide, one Coprinus gills slide, one vagina slide, one penis slide, one foetal kidney slide, one Microsporum Audouinii specimen with the name Robinson on the top and I thing the piece is misspelled, one human scalp, one Transverse section of bone, 2 hemin crystals, one appendix, one stomach cardiac, one Trichuris Trichiura feces sample, one pollen grain, one skin sample of some kind that can be viewed from the back of the label, and two that I am not quite ... moresure of. Offered for sale is a rare 18th century sample knife for the preparation of microscope slides. It comes with iv 0 ry covered handle serving as a ruler. And with a leather-coated pasteboard etui. The knife's blade is very sharp, in fact it is a scalpel, and it folds into the handle when not in use. The handle plates are engraved on both sides with rulers of three inches for size measurements. Such sample preparation knives came with blank bone sliders. Fitting mica circles and brass rings, and were intended for the preparation of microscope sliders.

Description Nikon wafer inspection microscope with a Nikon NWL-641 wafer loader. The microscope has a wafer loader stage as seen along with dual heads with 10x eyepieces and Nikon BD Plan 10.20,40 and 100 objectives. Condition Both the microscope and the loader have issues! The microscope has a lot of scratches and scuffs as seen in the pictures. The light source on the top works but it is glued on one side as seen in the pictures. It features a motorized turret but the switch for the objectives on the bottom does not work. You can still rotate them manually by hand. The objectives and eyepieces both have some scratches as seen but they produce a decent image. The NWL-641 loader powers up but none of the front panel buttons respond. Up for sale today is a 1923 folding bausch and lomb microscope. the year 1923 was determined by the the serial number of 169745 on one of the legs. comes with its original box. item spells of age. I did no cleaning what so ever to it. it has more potential to clean up. marked 8-16, rochester n.y. u.s.a. not sure if item is complete. looks as though it is missing a lense at the very top. sound like that is pretty easily unscrewed and replaced with almost any one of the same size. the mirror goes side to side, and up and down. mirror has some blemishes. something that could be cleaned up. personally don't understand the spacing for where a slide would go and the bottom of the scope. looks like it would have to sit on the slide. or with the scope at a unscrewed point. great piece. plenty of photos to see its beauty and imperfections. ... morehow will you look at 90 years old. any questions feel free to ask. free fast priority shipping.

We have available this one antique brass& metal Carl Zeiss Je na microscope. Serial number is 27161(circa 1890 if my research is correct) Stand style VIa. Comes with a 3x& 6x objective lens. Each has its original brass protective tube with lid. There is anot her wi der diameter objective lens with no mark ings(no tu be) Comes with a 10x& 4x eye piece lens. Comes with the original ca rry box in excellent condition with original key fully functional. It has the wood en holder fo r the eye pieces& lenses. It has an accessor y box with some o ld slides. I didn't see any marked ebola or bubonic plague so no worries there. There is one split on the back panel of the box but appears to have been there for some time and still fully intact. I tested the unit with the 10x eye piece and both objective lenses with a couple old slides. ... moreOptics seem to be excellent with no concerns. The 3x objective lens has lost most of it's brass finish. There is rust on the two screw heads on the slide platform. Antique/ vintage microscope. Has a decal under the stage" Chicago Lens& instrument Co. Tube is marked" Bausch& Lomb Optical Co, Rochester NY" Didn't find any info online for the Chicago Lens Company. Apparently the Bausch& Lomb Optical Co. name was used between 1876 to the mid 40's. Comparing the styles, I would place a guess ion the 1920's, but please use your own knowledge to help you determine the type and vintage of this. Has a two lens turret, lenses are Bausch& Lomb with one marked 4mm 0.85 and the other 16mm 0.25. Eyepiece lens is marked only with 10x. There is a diaphragm under the stage. It moves a bit, but is stiff to turn and the shutter looks to be a bit distorted. Adjuster moves the tube up and down as it should. The large brass knob at the top of the arm doesn't move easily. I didn't ... moretry to loosen it with any tools. My knowledge of microscopes it pretty limited and I didn't want to do any damage. The pivot between the base and tube appears to require a special tool to loosen, so I left it alone as well. Stands 13 3/4 tall extended. Base is 7 x 4. Has some wear, tarnish and accumulated dust. I imagine it will shine up pretty decent, but will let the new owner decide on the look desired. Kind of has the old unused dusty laboratory look as it sits. Base and parts are cast iron, the rest of the parts are brass. I think this will make a nice addition to a collection or look great as a decorating piece. Check out my! There are some signs of wear from use and age. However for the age I would say that it's in exceptional condition. I have tried all the objectives, the change rings, eyepieces and polarizer to observe some mineral thin sections. I was able to produce some nice images. The results were pretty good.
