Leica 50mm f2 Summicron version 4 anniversary model, 1913-1983, hood, caps
I'll call this lens exc+ to be conservative but I can find only the smallest of use marks on it and it has flawless glass. Focus is smooth and aperture clicks are like new. Is 6 bit coded and has the bear claw focus tab on it which is preferred by most over the concave tab. Comes with hood and hood cap. Rear cap. It is the 70th anniversary model which usually commands a premium but I have a moderate price on it. The anniversary edition was only made in 1983 and very few were produced with the bear claw or tiger claw tab. Also has Leica installed 6 bit coding on the rear plate for Leica digital cameras. An excellent lens with an excellent price. Just dropped the price $200 for a day to encourage a sale. I have a few other lenses listed and if one of those sell I'll probably pull this from sale. There are one or 2 very faint marks near the focussing tab which cannot be seen unless u really look for it. The glass elements are clean, no fungus, haze, separation or fogging. The aperture has no oil on its blade, aperture turns and click correctly, Works like a charm. The lens comes with a B&W filter. And non original front and rear caps. Leica (Leitz Wetzlar) Summaron F 2.8 35mm Lens 1962 s/n 1923893. good condition
This lens has been informally inspected by a Leica dealer who considered it to be in need of a clean and a service. It has been used in conjunction with a Leica M5 and M3. The lens is designed so that the additional viewfinders of this lens line up with those on the camera body. It will be compatible with other bodies but please check with the manufacturer of you intend to use it with other bodies. Overall the larger viewfinder image is clear but there is a scratch and a small(2-3mm) area of what may be mould within it which though just visible to the naked eye do not show when you look through the viewfinder. The smaller round viewfinder has some dirt around the edge on the inner surface. The operation of the aperture ring is free. The ring slightly extends beyond F22 and continues to close the aperture accordingly. The aperture leaves appear ... moreclean and free of mould or oil to the naked eye and on inspection with an illuminated sensor loupe. The focus ring is a little stiffer than it should be. The locking mechanism is working fine. The glass is clear and unmarked. Some dust is present on the inner open compartment in the back of the lens. I cannot guarantee that there will be no dust within the glass for a lens of this age but it is not apparent. The black body has one or two very minor dents and slows a little wear on one corner(see pic s 7 and 8) The are several scratches on the leading edge of the round viewfinder(see pic 10) The lens cap has a dent(see pic 11) I have attempted to show the true condition of the camera though the photographs and description. I have slightly over-sharpened the images to exaggerate slightly any marks or imperfections. I am not a dealer so these comments are my personal description of the cameras condition. NB THIS IS AN R SERIES LENS MADE IN CANADA. The serial number is 2943417 I have had this lens informally inspected by a Leica dealer who described it as excellent. No faults or significant defects were found. The focus action is smooth. The aperture ring moves freely across the whole aperture range. The aperture leaves are clean with no marking on them and no trace of oil(see pics 5 and 6) The glass is clean and I can see no sign of mould internally or significant dust. Though some dust is likely to be present in a used lens of this age. I can see no scratches on front or rear glass. The external body is clean and the paintwork is in good condition. Some paintwork wear is apparent on the aperture ring and around the F stop readings. Also on the focus distance(see pics 2 and 3) The lens is fitted with a front and rear lens cap. Leitz Leica Focoslide w/ 5x Magnifier This model of the Focoslide was made in Germany and features the later H Clip as pictured above. It is used in conjunction with the M1. M2 or M3 to make close-up/macro photographs or critical copy work. The unit is used but in great condition and is fully working. There are no dents, dings and few signs of finish loss present. The top half slides across easily with enough tension to keep it from moving too fast. The focusing screen in clean with minimal dust/marks on it, certainly nothing that would affect focusing or viewing. The 5x magnifier is also in nice shape with clean optics. There appears to be an ever so slight haze inside near the bottom element but this also does not affect image viewing, and certainly not image quality as it is for focusing only. Vintage Leica Light Meter for M Series. Metrawatt. s/n 18660
This meter fits to the hot shoe of the Leica camera body. The hot shoe fixing is secure. The settings plate is moving freely as is the Din plate. This plate has quite a lot of superficial scratches. The meter appears unresponsive to the light. Whether this is because the corner serrated dial is switched to the black dot. I don't know. It appears seized so I cannot move it to the red dot. The light sensor plate is undamaged. Sold as seen with no guarantee as to its functionality. No returns accepted.
