Both tanks are set up for low pressure liquid use, although if you dont have a need for a high flow rate you could always use them for gas use as well without the need for a vaporizer. This is the tonearm that came from one of the top of the line turntables from the golden age of record players- the JVC QL-5(same arm as the QL-7) This arm has adjustable anti-skate. Adjustable VTA, the whole arm has been cryo treated to upgrade the sound quality. Since the arm was taken of a turntable it is not DIN ready, but it does come with the original tonearm cable which was cryo treated that you can solder together. Tissue Tek III Embedding System For sale- a Tissue Tek III Embedding System. Consisting of a Model 4587 Cryo Console, a 4586 Dispensing Console, and a 4585 Thermal Console. Physical condition is good. Typical for an embedding center, there is some stray paraffin and I am sure it could stand to be cleaned up a bit. The one glaring deviation at this point. The dispensing console must have taken a hit to the back on its way to surplus. The strain relief for the AC cord is missing and the fuse holder is broken. In order to test the dispenser I clipped the broken fuse holder out of line and connected the two wires with a terminal block. Obviously not going to get that past Underwriters Laboratories and it should NOT be used as it is. Definitely a fire hazard if the machine overloaded for whatever reason. It shouldn’t be too hard to replace the ... morefuse holder. I just couldn’t find any lying around the house(somewhat to my surprise) I am not going to do that until the unit is sold. As most of these that I have sold in the past go to specialist resellers that are going to refurbish them anyway. I can solder but it ain’t pretty so maybe you would rather do that yourself. If not just say so and I will replace the fuse holder before it ships. But that could delay shipment by several days or more. The only other thing I can say is that the paraffin tank on the dispensing console is basically empty. So I couldn’t get it to dispense anything. I found a few scrap pieces when I had the back off and it melted them no problem. But apparently still not enough to want to dispense. So I cannot say that the machine will actually give you melted paraffin on demand. Probably it will but I can’t say that for sure. If I can find any more paraffin I will give it another go. Other than that the Thermal Console heats up both top and bottom chambers. The Dispensing Console appears to be thermostatically set at about 62 or 63. And it does melt paraffin in the tank. Now here is a very special item! This is a nitrogen compressor out of a military fighter jet aircraft! I was told that it was probably out of an F-4 Phantom. But was also used in a number of other fighter jet aircraft as well.
