However, for some reason it stops heating at some seemingly random point, and I'm not sure how to get it to start again, without waiting till it cools down, and turning it back on again. I tested it on two consecutive days. The first day it heated to 382°C, before it made a click sound, and the power meter needle dropped to zero, and it stopped heating. I tried turning it off and on again, but it did not ... morestart heating again. When I tried it the next moring, it started heating again just fine, until it got to 414°C, and then again the meter needle dropped to zero, and it stopped heating. I'm not sure if it has something to do with the controls or what. This is the extent of my testing of it, and it is being sold as-is. It comes with three shelves, as shown. Vintage 1960's Kenner Easy Bake Oven Blue WORKS Oven Unit Only
This is a vintage. 1960's Kenner Easy-Bake Oven. It is marked, molded in the plastic on the back"Kenner Products Co. Cincinnati, Ohio Catalog No. 1600" The fact that it does not list a zip code indicates to me that it was probably made prior to 1964 when zip codes were instituted. It is about 15" tall by 12 1/2" long by 7" wide. It has some warping to the plastic around the slot that you slide the pan into, the blue plastic end on the tall side of the over. There is some tarnish to the metal but not much. It has a good electric cord and the light come on. It has information molded in the plastic back about what kind of bulbs to use should you need to change one of the two inside. There is some residual dust in the corners but overall a nice vintage toy in working condition. No pans, instructions, utensild, or ... morebox. No chips, cracks, or other damage other than the slight bit of warping around the oven slot. Buyer prepays + shipping via parcel select mail. This is in used condition. I do not know how it is supposed to function but I will tell you what we observed. I powered this on and it heats quickly. I let is on for several hours and it stayed a consistent temperature(tested with an oven thermometer) The temperatures I tested did not match the knob though, when it was 150 degrees in the oven the knob was only set to the low range shown in the 4th image, also when I turned it to the highest temperature the oven was at 350 degrees. Also the top has 2 holes in it where apparently there was something. This has the one rack and a metal plate in the bottom that covers the heating elements.
