This oven is in good condition with a few scuffs and scratches and some sticker residue from normal use. But no real major damage or anything that would affect function. Notes: This oven was removed from a working setup that was being decommissioned. This oven was plugged into 3-Phase 208VAC power and after flipping on the circuit breaker. The chamber power switch was flipped on and the oven started right up. Upon first starting up, the fan squealed for about 5 minutes until it quieted down. The stated temperature range is from 100 to 316ºC but we set the setpoint ... moreat 420ºC just to see how high it could go. It reached that temperature in several minutes and held steady ± 2ºC. The setpoint was also tested at 100ºC and held steady there as well. The over-temperature protection control also worked fine and a buzzer went off when the adjustable set temperature was reached. All knobs. Lights and switches worked as they should. No further testing was performed. No manuals, cords/cables, or additional items are included if not listed or shown. This is an antique oven portion of the early 1990s oil cook stove by OLD PERFECTION made in Cleveland. Ohio. It has markings on the front with 2 dates. The top date says Pat'd Nov. 14, 1911 and on the bottom another date Pat'd Feb. 11, 1908. NEW PERFECTION No. 42 G. It has the original paint, black with beautiful robin's egg blue trim. I was a label on the bottom that I got most off of but there is left. I was afraid to scratch the dish if scrubbed too hard. Quite hard to find these in this condition! 65+ Yr Old HULL U.S.A. CRESTONE BLUE OVEN-PROOF COVERED DISH, belonged to Mother
You are bidding on my 87 yr. old Mom's HULL U.S.A. CRESTONE OVEN-PROOF dish. I think this is called a butter dish. But I'm not exactly sure. The dimensions are 7 1/2" diameter and approx. 4" with the lid on. There are no issues with the bowl itself, except some light crazing which is shown in one of my pictures. The lid has a small chip out of the outer edge(which can also be seen in one of the pics) as well as some flea bites on the inside rim of the lid. My Mom said that this is one of the pieces a neighbor gave her when she started housekeeping. She's been married 66 years- so it has a right to have a few bumps and bruises along the way.
