I wired her as a floor lamp, and used different hats for the lampshade. I would find these amazing vintage dresses at thrift shops and dress her in them. Sometimes she would startle my ex- he thought that there was a stranger in the house. Then again. He wasn't that bright. Her metal parts are no longer shiny. And the metal at the neck is a bit rusty. There is a knob that is missing that protrudes from the top of her neck. She used to have a stamp on her chest. There is a hole in the cover on the back side of the neck, other than that it is in good condition. Some minor marks on the fabric as pictured. Chest circumference is 36 inches, waist circumference is approximately 25 inches, hips(measured at the bottom of the dress form) circumference is 36 inches. This auction is for a vintage Perfect Fit Adjust-O-Matic Dress Form. The patent date says it was filed in 1957& issued in 1960. It is made of cardboard& is in very good condition. It stands 28 1/2" tall. The measurement around the bottom of the piece is 38 1/2" I am not sure how much you could move the measurements as I would assume the cardboard is most likely not as flexible as it was when new. Vintage ~FAIRLOOM~ Push Button Adjustable DRESS FORM Mannequin. This dress form was sold only by Sears Roebuck Co. There are 10 sections plus the neck that can be adjusted by pushing the buttons and sliding the form piece. It is a Size B with measurements of: Bust 36" to 43" and-Hips 37 1/2" to 45" The form only has one very small hole in the farbric in the back. It is kind of dusty and would need some detailing before using. It can be used as a floor mannequin or on a tabletop. The base and adjustable rod are cast iron. This is a heavy type of pottery that has a glossy glazed finish in an almost grayish pale blue color with distressed. Rusty looking spots. It is ABOUT 12 3/4" tall x 4 1/2" wide. It is very heavy and very pretty with no chips or cracks that I can see, other than the deliberately distressed areas. This comes from a non-smoking home with pets.
