I used& loved this Tektronix 475 scope for years. It always worked well. But recently I've purchased a fancy Agilent digital scope. So it's finally time to find this old Tek475 a new home. The oscilloscope includes 2 Tek P6109 probes(only one has the spring grabber) And a third non-Tek 100 MHz probe for the external trigger. As you can see in the 2nd photo. I connected a function generator for testing, just to make sure everything still works. The function generator isn't included, but the 3 scope probe are. I didn't exhaustively test every single feature, but I did spend several minutes strolling down nostalgia lane with several waveforms and settings. remembering old projects where I used this scope. The serial number on this one is B016679 and as shown in the pictures has the through hole A5 board and not the problematic smd one. The date code stamped on several components shows June- July'89. This also has the original Tek u800 ic. I have personally replaced ALL electrolytic capacitors in this unit on ALL boards with new high quality Panasonic and Nichicon caps. This oscilloscope has been in occasional use on my bench for approximately 10 years. Performing without issue. It has been tested recently and found to be within original specs. Useful bandwidth extends considerably beyond its 100MHz spec. The unit is clean and the trace is sharp and bright. It includes a pouch for accessories It comes with a nearly new HP 9150 probe(150MHz) with accessories. A printed copy of the Tektronix Instruction and Service Manual, and a power cord. The instruction manual will benefit anyone purchasing his first scope(and nice to have for oldtimers, too) I've never had to access the service portion of the manual so this may be both a first and a last oscilloscope. This is an amazing and beautiful Tektronix 465 Dual-Trace 100 MHz Oscilloscope in excellent condition. Just look at those pictures and see how well it functions and nice it looks. Others available on the web sell for hundreds more in this condition and new ones sell for over $3000! Vertical Sensitivity is from 5 mV/div. to 5 V/div. and it has Vertical modes on Channel one. Two, an ADD, and Alt. A Chop and a Channel 2 Invert. It has a Full-Range Calibrated Delayed Time Base with Precision Delay Time Control as well. Horizontal Sweep Speeds are.5 s/div. to.05 ms/div. with x10 Mag. ins/div. Horizontal Modes are A, MIX, A INTEN, and B.
