I find not keeping track of hours by plain 2465 to be a serious drawback(you wouldn't want 1 that racked 262000 hours in its 30 years existance by being left on all the time, or even with 66000 hours if it was left on 1/4th the time) Scopes I sell have clocked less than 20000 hours. For 2465A that works out to no more ON than about 1/10th of the time. Another serious drawback of plain 2465 is a no longer made fan. 2465A uses a still available fan, and I do replace them as bearings wear. The only advantage I can think of that plain 2465 had was not needing a Li battery for memory backup. Tektronix 222 A Lab scope
This unit is an older one. It was last calibrated in 1994. I have gingerly used it for automotive diagnostics since 1996. I can count on one hand how many times I have used it since then. It seems to work good and the pictures are of the actual unit with both channels on display. There are some stains in the plastic. The battery is DEFINITELY BAD. However it is intact and sealed and not leaking. One of the probes is missing. Includes wall charger and carrying case. This item is sold as is with no returns. 465 Tektronix 465 Scope with Two Probes
Up for sale is a working 465 Tektronix scope with two probes and the instruction manual. This was my personal scope. But I am no longer in need of a scope. The scope was calibrated in 1997 and used very little since then. I have used it recently to check some audio signals and it appears to be working just fine. One of the push handle plastic covers is split and there is a crack in the front cover. There are a few scratches on the case due to normal use and wear. Serial number B262806.

Real nice 2235 100 Mhz scope. Accessories are shown in the pictures. I also have the service manual for this but it does not go with this auction. I use this on a very limited basis and it performs as i expect it to. However it's not enough usage to justify having it sit around 95% of the time. I recently had a friend who is big on O'scopes to check it out and he said that it was working as it is supposed to. To me that means no problems. Will be double boxed for shipping safety. Tektronix TDS420 150MHz 4 channel Digital Scope
All 4 channels seem to work(although the connector on Ch. 2 is a little loose) and it passes self test( see pictures) I'm not familiar with these older TDS scopes but it seems a little flaky. Unless I'm doing something wrong. When I change the signal amplitude, it will show the correct setting on the scope(i.e. 200mV, 500mV) but the signal does not change unless I un-trigger it, and then trigger it again. You are bidding on an immaculate Tektronix 310A oscilloscope in working condition with original manual and custom-made aluminum case. Tektronix has been one of the two or three premier manufacturers of oscilloscopes since 1946. The other contenders are Dumont and Hewlett-Packard) This auction is for one of the company's nicest vintage vacuum tube scopes ever made. The model 310A. The 310 was the worlds first really good portable scope. It was a direct response to IBM's desire for a high quality portable scope that could be used to service their computers in the field. IBM collaborated with Tek in designing the 310, and some early 310's even bear the IBM logo. Introduced in 1959. The 310A was an improved version of the 310, with better construction and silicon diode rectifiers. It enjoyed an extremely long production run through ... morethe 1960's, with the last 310A being manufactured in 1971. The 310A is built like a tank(see photos) and has a clever hinged chassis that unfolds the scope like a book for easy service. It uses 34 vacuum tubes to achieve what was in the 1960's state-of-the-art sensitivity and linearity up to its 4MHz bandwidth. Even today a 310A is more than adequate for audio. Analog television, radio, and vintage computer servicing. This particular 310A is serial number 022106. It is in near-mint cosmetic condition(see photos) With all the original hardware including the little spool of silver solder on the back panel(photo 3) I have never seen a cleaner vintage Tek scope of any kind. This scope is working. The first and last photos show the scope free-running with the audio stream of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue as input. More interesting from a technical standpoint is photo 6. Which shows the scope displaying the square wave output of the built-in calibrator. Comparison of the trace with the settings of the knobs shows that the gain and sweep are almost perfect. Tektronix Tektronics Model 224 Handheld Digital Storage Oscilloscope Scope
This is a handheld portable 2-channel Tektronix Model 224 digital storage oscilloscope. I purchased it new when I was a Tech Rep but I don't have a need for it now. It comes with a very nice travel bag. Shoulder strap and a shoulder pad. It has always been under my personal care. You can be assured that it is in great condition. It has a bandwidth of 60 MHz and has 4 memory locations for saved waveforms. It is shown displaying a waveform from an external waveform generator. It has the original battery and includes the factory instruction book. The original wall power supply was lost in Egypt and the replacement from Motorola works fine. Three items here. The IC looks new in the box with instructions pn 155-0065-001. the board is a pull dated 1965 and the transistor is a 2N277 tek pn 151-0002-00. I don't know the condition of these parts as I have no way of testing them so sold as-is NO RETURN

Tektronix 2465B 400MHz 4 channel Analog Scope
Tek 2465B powers up with Test 04 Fail 02(see pictures) which seems to indicate a calibration failure. It's possible the lithium battery needs to be replaced and then the scope needs a complete calibration. I found the following info. Before calibration. I was getting an ERROR 04 02 message at powerup, signifiying that one or more stored calibration constants was out of spec. Using a time mark and calibration generator. I stepped throught CAL 01(horizontal calibration) and CAL 02(vertical calibration) At a few of the steps. I got a LIMIT error, and had to back up a step and redo it. After I finished. I powered up the scope but still got the ERROR 04 02 message. I redid the entire calibration. But still couldn't get rid of the error message. Also. The display showed a row of dots along the bottom line of the readout. Where spaces were ... moresupposed to be. WHen I moved the calibration jumper back to its normal position. The dots turned into question marks. Here's what I learned. The service manual doesn't say this. But none of the calibration constants are stored until the entire calibration routine(e.g. CAL 01, CAL 02, etc. is completed and exited. In other words. If only some of the steps are completed and then the user exits the calibration routine. None of the new constants are saved. Second. If a LIMIT error is encountered somewhere during the calibration. Then the new constants won't be stored. The only solution is to exit the routine and start over. Finallly(and this is what was causing my problem) There are three undocumented steps in the CAL 01 procedure. The service manual shows 31 steps for CAL 01. But the 2465B actually has 34 steps. After completeing the 31 steps. It is necessary to advance through 32, 33, and 34. And then let the scope exit the routine by itself. If you don't do this. None of the calibration constants will be stored. After completing the entire calibration in this way. The dots and question marks disappeared. As did the startup error message, and all is as it should
