Antique Large iron industrial age yard art. You are looking at a vintage private merry go round. It was made in 1922. According to the previous owner who gave it to me when I was 4 years old. He used it as a child. He was 6 when he received this as a gift in 1928, he was 42 when he passed it on to me. I played on it my kids played on it. Since then kids aren't the same with xbox and ipods and mp3,4,5. Its just a great blast from the past. It is still very functional for being 91yrs. old. I have lots of other machines and parts listed and more on the way. This is a great vintage Singer industrial machine it can be used by hand crank or hook it up to a treadle or even to a motor. It still works and everything moves smoothly. This one is in very nice shape for its age and still looks good cosmetically as well as working. These are hard to find quite collectible now and one routinely bring 750 to 1000. I will sell the industrial base this would have been mounted to separately. They're a little dirty and there is some minor wear to the numbers but nothing that detracts. The edges are a little rough as they would normally be in a frame. This clock was plugged in and ran all night with no issues it runs well as intended. Red Second hand also works well. The Clock face is protected with a high Convex Bubble Glass found with No cracks or Chips- a minor very light scratch. The plastic round plastic clock movement cover is loose from the the metal tabs. Which does have ... morea crack in the plastic on one side only- and it was pulled back to take photos of the internal workings- please look at photos. Clock is in very good condition Tested working for 12 hours- no issues. Can't guarantee accuracy. Selling"as is" Still displays wonderfully and what a great addition to Bar. Den or Garage. 4 Vintage Coca-Cola Abolite Porcelain Light Shade Lamp Advertising Industrial
This Abolite porcelain covered steel lights are about 50 years old. They have old and original shades. Sockets and hangers. You can see, they are extremely well preserved and in very nice condition, with only a few minor touch-ups, see close-up picture. The high quality indoor-outdoor vinyl Coca-Cola restoration decals are not old and have recently been applied to the vintage shades. The shades came out of an old warehouse in Chicago, where they hung 20 feet out of harms way. The slots near the top of the shade serve to release heat created from the bulb but also cast a lighted design on the ceiling. Very cool! The shades are 14 inches in diameter and a little over 9 inches tall to the top of the white portion. The down-rods are 12 inches long and could be made shorter or longer with a trip to the hardware store for 1/2 inch black or galvanized ... morepipe. The lights have been freshly re-wired. Accept normal household bulbs and are ready to go for another 50 years. The original vintage swivel hangers allows the buyer to hang them from a flat. Sloped or cathedral ceiling. The light will also hang straight from an electric box that isn't level.a big plus! They can be made to hang higher or lower with a trip to the Hardware store for 1/2 inch pipe of your choosing. I will replace the 12 inch down rod with an 18 inch or 3 inch rod at no charge. The length of the wire will accommodate up to a 24 inch rod. Also. You can choose either black or galvanized down rods. The light will be shipped in two or three pieces to be easily re-assembled by the buyer. I will even include the wire-nuts! All electrical items should be checked and installed by a professional electrician. The items I sell are used. Old and vintage. Selling this storage/ shipping container. Has four entry way doors and is on heavy duty casters and fits freight elevators. Great for hauling and storing music gear. Trade show exhibits and the like. Size is 4 x 4 x 8. It has carpet on the inside for padding which can be removed. It was used to store items at the Freeman Warehouse in Atlanta. GA and ship my display and merchandise back and forth to Americas Mart. It held knock down display panels for two 10 x 10 booths, lighting plus about 50 framed 18 x 24 framed works on glass.
