The press pad and heat pad look clean overall. The body of the unit does have some minor dirt. Scratches and spots, to be expected for this type item. There are no broken or cracked parts that I can see. There are a few very minor spots of rust where the paint has chipped. The"caution hot" label is peeling from plate. I bought this from the original owner who had purchased it for his wife to make custom T-shirts with. She was sickly and couldn't do her regular job and wanted something to do. She made 144 t-shirts with it and died shortly after. That was a year ago and it has sat since. He said she made enough on the 100 shirts to pay for the machine.
