The ... moreheat control knob is currently sitting at 325 and that is the left-most position as the knob is mounted. When it rotates to the right(clockwise) it rotates beyond the maximum setting shown on the scale. It came this way and I think that rotational movement would exceed the scale setting no matter how the knob was fastened to the metal stud inside. I'm assuming the mfg made it this way. Pics just above and below show the only wear to paint. These are on the two horizontal shafts; each scrape is about 1/2" Mounting board measures about 16" x 25" weight will be around 40 pounds when packed.
