Seal Commercial 200 dry mounting& laminating press is designed to handle up to 18"x 22" prints. This thermostatically controlled and has an extended temperature range from 180-350 degrees. Capacity: Can handle work in sections up to 36' inches wide and any length in sections. This press can be used for dry mounting photographs. Posters, pictures, thermal transfers for T-shirts. And much more. This press is in very nice condition with just normal expected wear for its age and from use. It has some slight speckles of rust on some of the outside metal parts. Platen is very clean but shows some marks and light scratches. The thermostat control works correctly as well as the light indicators. Power cord is in nice condition. The felt pad shows some wear from use. There is some discoloration and it is less supple than from when ... moreit was new. But is still very usable. Up for sale today is this very little used Seal 200 Laminating Heat press for t-shirt decals and dry mount Photos. This press is in Excellent condition and is very heavy duty. This comes with an adjustable heat tacking iron with temperature control settings for low. Medium, and high heat. The press works great and it also has a heat control knob with temperature settings from 180 degrees up to 350 degrees. I plugged it in and it heated up in no time. The press pad and felt are in great condition with very light fading just around the outer edges. I just replaced the bulbs so the green and red lights work when the press is in use. Seal 210 M Commercial Dry Mounting Press 23" x 18.5" Tested Accurate. Good shape. A bit dusty. I tested the unit and with the dial set to 250 degrees. The thermometer indicates 250 and my digital meter measured it at ~245 degrees. The upper platen looks about like you would expect from a used mounting press. It can be cleaned. The lower platen has the the wooden insert only. If you were to use this for photographs you'd want to add a padded board. Your application may vary. Photos are of the actual item. Please ask for a shipping quote if you want to use a carrier other than UPS. This thing is heavy. ~70 lbs without any packaging. Manual& Pressure Board This lot includes the following items: Commercial Seal 200 Dry Mount Press, Seal Masonite Pressure Board for use in mounting thin materials, Operating Manual- The cover is stained. But the instructions inside are perfectly readable, This is a used Seal Commerical 200 Dry Mounting Press. It can be used to mount photographs on mat boards. To attach decals to T-Shirts, to laminate items, for cloth backing, for making transparencies and probably other uses I am not familiar with. This unit has been cleaned and tested. The lights work as prescribed. The green light comes on and stays on until the desired temperature is reached. Then it cycles on and off as needed. The red light comes on when the press is locked. It flashes once per second during operation. Generally ... moreyou will need to follow the instructions that(hopefully) come with the material you are using and work at the recommended temperature and time range. It is a good idea to do a test project first since occasionally some adjustment of time or temperature is needed. I was able to successfully mount a test photo using dry mount tissue. The workspace on the press pad measures 22 1/2" L x 18" W. Condition: The press only has signs of light use. The seal press pad is in good condition. With very few heat marks. The temperature control works. I do not have equipment to test the accuracy of the thermostat. But I could tell it gets progressively hotter as higher temperatures are selected. The temperature selector knob appears to be intact, but it does not turn the selector. I do not know if it is repairable or not. The metal rod it is supposed to turn on the thermostat can easily be turned by hand. There is a mark on the rod to indicate where it should line up for the desired temperature selection. This is a heavy duty piece of equipment. Built to last, that can provide many years of service. The total shipment weight will be approximately 60 pounds. There is no handling fee
