I purchased this new and just to check I turned the unit on and it heats up to temperature…this should provide the new owner with great future service. Perfect time of the year to prepare for seasonal printing. Team gear and summertime fun! Temperature is adjustable. Timer can be manually adjusted for desired duration. Simply set the timer, depress the heat plate on the cap and the timer counts down and a bell rings on completion. Unit has a temperature gauge(dial type) on the platen face works well, at the rear of the unit is located the“On-Off” button and fuse holder for overload protection. For auction is a very nice HIX#VH-250 Hat Cap Heat Press Transfer Machine. This item powers on and heats up as designed. The thermostat is adjustable and works good. Temperature gauge and timer also works good. All of the mechanical parts move freely and function good. The press pad and heat pad look clean overall. The body of the unit does have some minor scratches and spots. To be expected for this type item. There are no broken or cracked parts that I can see. There are a few very minor spots of rust where the paint has chipped. The"caution hot" label is missing from plate. No user manual. This item was tested for basic operation functions only. I did not test the actual use of applying any patches or decals to hats. As I don't have anything to use. Will be safely packed and wrapped for shipping. UP FOR BID. A good fully functional used condition Hix transfer printing hat press machine. It is model VH-250. It works great with normal signs of use. All light bulbs.Knobs, thermostat and timer work as supposed to. When the thermostat is set to 10 it turns heating element off at 470 degrees f max temp. The rubber foam has a(1 inch) scratch on it, but it does not affect the use of it. I have a brand new soldered in replacement commercial grade power cord so the hat press will handle many extra years of use. Thanks for looking!
