Up for sale is a very nice used Hix Model 1620 Heat Transfer Swingaway Press with a copy of the original manual. It is used. But has been cleaned, checked out and is ready to be used. The Model 1620 Manual Transfer Machine is 120 volts 15 Amps, Swingaway 16” x 20” heat platen. I have installed a new line cord and plug on the heat press. All the other internal wiring is in excellent condition and there is no harding or cracking on the insulation of the wires. I ran this for about 1-1/2 hours bringing it up to 320 degrees. I set the thermostat at several different setting to insure that it would shut off and turn on as the platen heated or cooled and it worked perfectly. There is some wear on the platen surface and there are some chips to the rubber on the silicone rubber pad(see pictures) This item is for pickup only but I will make delivery ... morefree of charge for a 40 mile radius. I live in Titusville Fl so you can figure out the distance to where you live. UP FOR BID. A good fully functional used condition Hix transfer printing hat press machine. It is model VH-250. It works great with normal signs of use. All light bulbs.Knobs, thermostat and timer work as supposed to. When the thermostat is set to 10 it turns heating element off at 470 degrees f max temp. The rubber foam has a(1 inch) scratch on it, but it does not affect the use of it. Stahls' The Hot One Model HOC Thermal Transfer Press
Stahls' The Hot One model HOC thermal transfer press. 19" long. 9" wide, 19" tall. The pad surface is 3.5" tall and 7" wide. Good physical condition. Some surface rust on some of the bolts. There are two little insulators near the hinge that are both broken(see the sixth photo) The heating element seems a bit wobbly; I don't know if that's by design or if it needs to be tightened. Otherwise there's just normal wear. I haven't attempted to use this press. But I did plug it in and turn it on, and turn the knob all the way to"10" The temperature slowly climbed to about 360 degrees, and half an hour later it was still hovering at 360 degrees. This Technal 500 dry mount press has seen little use- very clean and functions well. Has chip on thumb screw handle(see photo) But this does not effect its usability. No other signs of wear and tear. Machine is 750-watt. 115-volt and temp ranges from 180 to 325 degrees on a rheostat for infinite temperature adjustment. Use it to dry mount photographs.
