Heating and thermostat work fine. Platen and pad clean. Work size is 18.5x23" But can do much larger sizes in multiple presses. New price is about $1900 at B&H. It utilizes uniform heat and pressure to mount, laminate and texturize prints& transfers on substrates up to 1" thick. It comes with a direct temperature readout for precise control and develops up to 1200 lbs. of adjustable pressure on its 18.5 x 23" 47x58cm) platen. The Free-floating platen seats the work without shifting and provides uniform pressure across the entire surface. The extended temperature range is thermostatically controlled from 150-350F degrees. A 25 lb. 20 x 20" Seal Weight with handles is included. This weight is very flat and is used to hold finished work flat as it cools and adjusts to atmospheric moisture. 2. An open package of 11 x 14" laminating adhesive. 3. A partial roll of 26" wide release paper(used for protecting the platen from adhering to the work) The combined weight is 105 lbs and the size is aprx.
