Bed is 4' CTC about 26" Bore is 1 3/8" ... moreThis lathe has been completely dissassembled, stripped, castings smoothed, and repainted with high quality paint. Wipers, wicking, belt, all data tags, drum switch, 110v motor are all new. All parts painted seperately, others were polished then reassembled. All gears are in good shape see photo under quick change gearbox. Extra detail in painting logos in castings. The lathe itself has some wear, the ways, chuck and tailstock shank are far from perfect, have some scratches-dents and I can feel a ridge at the top and bottom of the ways not enough to grab my fingernail. The inside of the chip pan has also been polished. This lathe includes 6" 3 jaw chuck, thread dial, taper attachment, chuck wrench, tailstock wrench, forward reversing drum switch, light, and quick change gearbox. The backlash is about 1/4 turn in crossfeed and 1/8 turn in compound. One oil cap is missing and some of the polished parts have very minor discoloration. The spindle is 2 3/8" 6tpi. Included is a copy of parts list, how to run a lathe, and some photos before and during restoration. This lathe runs good and all functions work fine. Call 314-750-1403 or email with questions. This is a good slightly used screw ass'y. It still has the waxy coating on the handle and dial. I can tell it was mounted at one time. The nut has very little play on the screw. Up for sale is a small lot of lathe tools I received with an Atlas lathe. The mill is gone. But I still have these pieces leftover. Priced to sell! I do not know much about these items. But I'll do my best: 1) Knurling tool. It is in good condition- the rollers seem to turn fine. The square handle is just under 7/8" square. It is made in India. 2) Boring bar/tool holder. Maybe this is called a boring bar? It holds cutting/ boring inserts on either side. It appears to be made in the USA by J.D.G. Tool Co. Brooklyn, NY. 3) Jacobs arbor. Part number is 07312.
