Used Hendey swing 18"X80" geared head metal lathe model 16X72 with D1-6 camlock spindle taper. This lathe has spindle speeds 8.5-574 rpm and threading 1.5-80tpi. Includes full chip pan. Thread dial, wrenches, a 10" 3 jaw chuck rev jaws, 12" 4 jaw chuck, taper attachment, micrometer stop, collet closer for 5C, and change gears. It has less than 1/8 turn backlash in the crossfeed and compound. It is powered by about a 5HP 3 phase motor and is currently wired for 480volt. The ways have no detectable ridges but has some dinges and scratches. The bore is 1 1/2" It runs fine, all functions work as they should. This lathe weighs about 4000 lbs. Used Hendey swing 14"X30" geared head metal lathe model 12X30 with L1 spindle taper. This lathe has spindle speeds 19-598 rpm and threading 1.5-80tpi. Includes full chip pan. A 10" 3 jaw chuck rev jaws, taper attachment, collet closer with 15ea collets and wood case, spindle nose protector, and headstock center. It has less than 1/4 turn backlash in the crossfeed and 1/8 in the compound. It is powered by about a 5HP 3 phase motor and is currently wired for 240 volt 3Ph. The ways have some wear but cannot feel any ridges with my fingernail. It has some dinges and scratches. The bore is 1 1/2" It runs fine, all functions work as they should.
